Nearly all of the major firearm manufacturers produce quality firearms. That’s why they have been in business as long as they have. It’s no secret that I’m a GLOCK man. The quality is in every one of their firearms, regardless of generation or caliber. However, the experience of holding and shooting a SIG Sauer handgun can make the GLOCK pale in comparison. They are in different leagues, and different price ranges.
The most accurate firearm I have shot, stock, right out of the box, is the SIG Sauer P226 MK 25. This is the sidearm chosen by the US Navy SEALS.

The GLOCK costs about 1/2 the price of the SIG. Both are reliable, both are dependable. One comes with all the bells and whistles, one may use some tweaking, if you choose.
Bottom line? Both guns are great. One is drop-dead simple (which is good for me.)
